If you haven’t configured DDNS yet:
You will need to set up a method of sending us IP updates from your network. You can either use DDNS settings in a device that supports it or by always running our DUC on the network.
If you’re setting up DDNS on a device that supports it: https://www.noip.com/support/knowledgebase/how-to-configure-ddns-in-router/
If you want to run the DUC on windows: https://www.noip.com/support/knowledgebase/installing-the-windows-4-x-dynamic-update-client-duc/
Here is a guide on the port forwarding that you will need to do after you set up those updates so you can view your device remotely: https://www.noip.com/support/knowledgebase/general-port-forwarding-guide/
Once you have that configured, you can have easy access to any device/machine within your network. What you can connect to is limitless. You can now run any network based services like game servers, telnet/ssh/ftp and web services. You can connect to a computer remotely and even connect to a programmable thermostat if it has that capability. The options are endless!
